HISTORY

George E. Coleman, is an entrepreneur who has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 50 years. While still owning and operating several service entities, he formed and incorporated Coleman Oil and Gas, Inc. in 1979. In 1997, after selling his service companies, George began a more concentrated focus on exploration and production of oil and gas properties.

G. Chris Coleman joined the corporation in 1991 upon completion of a business degree from New Mexico State University. His initial focus with the company was to further develop land and lease acquisition opportunities for Coleman Oil and Gas, Inc.

In order to better promote and represent the organization, G. Chris Coleman was named President in 2012. George E. Coleman continues to be actively involved in all operations of the company.
